Our August event features Nick Mayhew, a Director at Microsoft Australia, speaking on Microsoft Corporation’s cloud computing strategies as well as what’s new in Australia and the region. Nick will provide an update on the fast changing strategy for cloud transformation at Microsoft, across Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and IaaS models. He will talk specifically about the Azure platform offering, unpacking some of the most recent developments and their relevance to our NSW.NET audience.
Nick Mayhew is Enterprise Operations Director at Microsoft Australia, responsible for running the end-to-end enterprise business, ‘sales excellence’ and customer lifecycle management. Nick has been involved in the cloud transformation work at Microsoft for many years, initially via his previous roles in the partner organisation and more recently direct to customers. Nick has been with Microsoft Australia nearly five years and prior to that he ran a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the UK.
In addition to Nick’s presentation (time and space allowing!) we will also conduct our Speed.Net.Working and/or our recently trialled Clever Connections session, where you get to exchange 2-minute ‘elevator pitches’ with half-a-dozen of your business peers, outlining your company’s capabilities as well as the types of partnerships which you seek.
Over a continental breakfast, network with our guests and other technology focused companies to identify skills and synergies, share knowledge and pool resources.
